In June of 2008 Stand Up MRI of America merged with Physicians Stand Up MRI and formed American Dynamic Imaging. Today, our vision is to serve the patients in our communities with the utmost care and expertise. Our investment in the N.E.W. MRI is evidence that we are committed to providing as pleasant an experience as possible, while also obtaining the best images possible.
Our Non Enclosed Weight bearing MRI, or N.E.W. MRI, is the only truly open MRI on the market today. The patient is able to be scanned in a comfortable seated position 90% of the time. This allows the patient to sit comfortably and watch TV during the scan. Claustrophobic and overweight patients find that we are the best option and sometimes the only option for them to be able to complete the scan. In addition, the weight bearing aspect of our scans should not be overlooked as the spine reacts differently under the compressive forces of gravity. Not to mention, we are able to perform symptomatic imaging, because of the flexibility of the platform we can position your patient in the position of symptom, if you so desire-including flexion and extension views of the spine.
We currently have 5 sites across the Southwestern US and are proud to say that we are excited about the opportunity to serve each community. Those communities are in Arizona, Colorado and Texas-- specifically, Phoenix, Denver, Dallas-Fort Worth, and San Antonio. These sites were opened from 2003 to 2006 and we have learned a ton of great lessons that all point to a couple of principles…take care of the patients and produce great images.
Today, we are sending this letter to announce our new name and to ask you to trust us with the care of your patients’ MRI needs. We believe that trust is the most important word in that sentence-as your reputation and our reputation are locked together when you refer a patient to us. We take that trust seriously and strive to treat every patient as you would.
Thank you for your time and referrals--past and future.
Sincerely,
Joel Smith
